Silver Witches
A downloadable game
Inspired by The Witcher and Claymore, you play monster-hunting witches.
This game is a rough iteration on mechanics and ideas found in Dogs in the Vineyard by D. Vincent Baker. Vincent Baker has taken Dogs In The Vineyard out of print out of frustration with the moral implications of its Western setting. I wanted to do something similar without the controversial setting, and with cards instead of dice.
Here is a prototype for story game drama & moral dilemmas.

It seems like a pretty fascinating little system! I have one question,
What happens when an attacker doesn't have the required 2 cards to perform the attack? At the beginning stats have an avg of 5 points. Gears, trait and might add another 3~5. So if I have ~10 cards, I can attack for a max of 5 rounds, but actually it's much less, since I also have to defend..
Ah yes I have to add that. If you can't attack, and exhausted all ways to draw more cards or don't want to overbid, you lose the conflict and concede the stakes.
Don't forget to overbid to get more cards if you are ready to move the conflict to another area (from any to any other not already played).
You can also attack with only 1 card but it's something that should maybe be restricted to when it's your last card.
